Community Champions

The Forum Now has two Members that have successfully passed an accredited Training course to Become community Champions. We will be available to deliver the Every Action Counts presentation.

We will be contacting local community Groups Faith Groups School Councils etc over the coming months. When we visit we will help your group to develop a simple every action counts plan that other groups have committed to take for a more sustainable future.

 This will contain simple future friendly actions if you are a group that would like more information on what you can do please contact us.

What is an Every Action Counts Community Champion ?

Every Action Counts Community Champions include anyone who likes to get involved. You may be the chair of your residents' association, but you don't have to be. You may help out at your local toddlers' group, but it's not essential. In fact, you don’t actually need to be involved with any other community group, you just need enough passion to help Groups / Clubs / Societies within your community take action for a more sustainable future.

As an Every Action Counts Community Champion we will train and support you in making contact with community groups, clubs and societies where you live. The idea is to attend their meetings or talk to their members so they are inspired to take some simple actions on saving energy, travelling wisely, shopping ethically, saving our resources and caring for their area. Every Action Counts champions will be given a range of activities and materials which can be used when meeting with local groups.
